It is our privilege and responsibility to share the gospel of Jesus Christ as told in the Bible.

The Bible is the Word of God (1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Corinthians 14:37). His Word is eternal (Matthew 24:35) and inerrant (Matthew 5:18).

The Lord Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. He is equal with God (Philippians 2:6).

Everyone has sinned against God and His law (Romans 3:23). This demands justice and punishment (Romans 6:23) (Genesis 3:1-20).

The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and resurrected three days later, as our Savior (1 Corinthians 2:2; 15:1-4).

Salvation is a gift from God that will give you life after death (John 3:16).

Salvation is not earned by praying, paying or any other good works, but instead can be obtained freely by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9).

We need the new birth (salvation) to enter Heaven (John 3:3).

The Lord Jesus Christ will return to the air to take his people home to Heaven (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). No one knows when this will happen (Acts 1:7), but it is certain that it will happen (2 Peter 3:3-11).

Christians are commanded to positively impact and contribute to the well-being of the community (Matthew 5:13), and to promote strong family relationships founded on the love of God (Mark 16:15)."

Welcome to the Marysville Gospel Hall

In 1908 a group of 16 Christians began meeting together in Arlington, Washington, to remember and serve the Lord Jesus Christ as a local church. The Arlington Gospel Hall, as they called themselves, grew over the course of the century into a thriving, active group of around 100. In the 1950s they began to reach out with the gospel to the nearby town of Marysville, and in the 1990s bought a piece of land for a building on the corner 116th and 51st Streets. In 1994 what is now called the Marysville Gospel Hall (formerly Shoultes Gospel Hall) began meeting, and we have continued ever since. Our purpose is to glorify God and share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the Marysville community.

We continue to have a strong relationship with the Arlington Gospel Hall to the north, as well as the Clearview Gospel Hall, our nearest neighbor to the south. Every local church is completely independent from one another and from any denomination. However, we enjoy meeting and working together for our mutual support and encouragement, and are happy to recommend them to anyone seeking a Bible-focused local church. More information about these locations, including address and contact info, can be found under Contact Us.

The Marysville community is very important to us. Blood drives and health screenings are held on a semi-regular basis. We also have many special events throughout the year, including a summer Vacation Bible School, series of gospel meetings, and holiday celebrations, to name a few. Don’t feel you have to wait for a special event, though. We welcome all to come and enjoy the Word of God at our regular services, including our youth-focused Bible Hour!
